Internships
Stellation Group believes that internships and volunteer work helps build the knowledge-base for leaders at every level. Therefore, we have developed opportunities for students and non-students to learn more about digital publishing, healthcare, and business. You determine your end goal and we will cater your experiences to build a personalized portfolio of practical experience. If you are a student, we will work with your school so that you can receive academic credit for an internship at Stellation Group.
WHAT IS THE INTERNSHIP STRUCTURE?
Our internship program is structured around 3 terms a year: Fall, Spring, Summer and are 8 weeks long, generally 3 days a week for several hours a day dedicated to working with Stellation Group projects. Work is done remotely with a weekly in-person meeting with the project team.
WHICH SCHOOLS SHOULD I ATTEND TO GET AN INTERNSHIP AT STELLATION GROUP?
There will not be a direct route to an internship at Stellation Group. We seek educational and varied work experiences as diversity and inclusion are core to our beliefs. We suggest you follow the path that will best prepare you for your field and interest of choice.
WHAT COURSES/EXPERIENCE SHOULD I HAVE TO GET AN INTERNSHIP AT STELLATION GROUP?
Passion is what we will look for more than anything else. The courses you should take depend on the route you wish to pursue. Most internship positions in our publishing house involve writing and copy editing, so journalism courses are recommended. If you are pursuing art direction, you should have a strong interest in design. If you are pursuing social media expertise you should have experience with SEO. If your interested in healthcare experience, some prior interest or experience is preferred. If you are looking for business planning and strategy experience, interest and some experience in business should be had.

CURRENT PROJECTS & OPENINGS
Marketing Intern
We are looking for an outgoing, detail-oriented, and creative person who loves learning about people. The intern will be exposed to different aspects and strategies of digital marketing and market research. The key responsibilities of this position include assisting the project with marketing activities including managing mailing lists and marketing databases, sending campaigns, analyzing campaign data, digital distribution of market research surveys, and other marketing tasks for our Stellation Academia project.
Interns will be involved in project based team-work supporting the business with its key initiatives. A great opportunity for someone who wants to apply hands-on experience after training sessions with a mentor. Familiarity with Word and Excel. Prefer Business, Advertising, Marketing or Communication majors but all are welcome. There are 2 positions available.
E-Learning Content Developer Intern
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and engaging person who has a passion for learning. The intern will gain exposure to a wide range of development activities including designing and producing e-learning content for course offerings. The key responsibilities of this position include assisting the project with content development activities such as creating attractive, engaging, and easy to follow e-learning content for the Learning Management Solution that we are currently developing for our Stellation Academia project.
Interns will be involved in project based team-work supporting the business with its key initiatives. A great opportunity for someone who wants to apply hands-on experience after training sessions with a mentor. Familiarity with Word, Excel, and Canva with an interest in healthcare preferred. All are welcome to apply but prefer Graphic Design, Business, and Marketing majors. There are 2 positions available.
